Temporal Lift

The combined effects of genetic inheritance, age and gravity, can be experienced on the face. The lines on the forehead and temporals vary for each person depending on their skin elasticity. After the age of 40 skin starts to lose its elasticity, which causes deformations on the skin. As we get older, the skin on the forehead cannot defy gravity causing sagging around the eyes. As years pass by, the lines and wrinkles deepen. Skin starts to loosen and sag. Temporals tend to move downwards, which puts pressure on the outer area of the eyes and eyebrows. Because of the sagging, the skin around the outside of the eyebrows becomes droopy. In this case, the solution is a temporal lift.

Temporal lift is the procedure of lifting and tightening the skin from a small incision in the scalp, providing a natural, youthful and visibly firmer facial appearance following your temporal lift.

Temporal Lift reduces the signs of ageing on the forehead, upper eyelids and eyebrows; this surgery is also known as eyebrow lifting. It also lifts the eyebrows giving the eyes a lighter look. The eyebrows are positioned in an ideal place by your surgeon. Since the sutures and staples are hidden and small within the hairline, the scarring is less than in a traditional coronal incision approach.
